Job summary

National Vision's America’s Best brand in Farmington, UT is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You will manage eyewear departments, lead opticians and sales associates, forecast staffing needs, and partner with leadership to achieve profit and performance goals while maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure staff do the same.
• Review quality standards; review remakes and enforce policies for compliance.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reports.
• Ensure store promotions and visual merchandising are in place and communicated to staff.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates; ensure day-to-day functions are completed.
• Forecast staffing needs, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber staff.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary to meet state licensing requirements.
