Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to drive store performance. You will oversee the eyeglass department, manage staff and ensure a high-quality customer experience across daily operations.

The role entails leading a team, analyzing financials, coordinating promotions, and enforcing standards to meet company policies. Growth opportunities exist within a supportive team at National Vision.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and success standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication for team leadership.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and progress monitoring.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems across varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee eyeglass dept. for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and coach teams.
• Review quality, remakes and enforce standards.
• Report store performance to General Manager and Corporate.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising and visual merchandising.
• Supervise Opticians and sales staff; ensure daily tasks.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts and hiring.
• Motivate staff to exceed standards.
• Duties may vary by location due to licensing.
