Job summary

Optical Outlets in Gainesville welcomes a customer-focused associate to assist patients, fit eyewear, and process transactions. You will work closely with doctors and the Office Manager to ensure smooth operations and outstanding patient experiences from first contact.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a related role, solid communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of eyewear prescriptions is a plus, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in related field.
• Proficient in MS Office package.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building abilities.
• Able to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Experience working with prescriptions and eyewear is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with merchandise selection, fitting frames, and dispensing eyewear.
• Greet customers and explain the process transparently.
• Provide exceptional customer service to attract and retain customers.
• Manage customer transactions at the point of purchase.
• Assist other staff with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Record measurements accurately and adjust eyewear as needed.
• Communicate office issues to the Office Manager.
• Support a high standard of patient satisfaction from first contact.
