Job summary

Visology is growing fast in Massachusetts and seeking energetic Eyewear Sales Consultants to join our Medford, Quincy, Somerville, and Swampscott stores. You’ll guide customers through a personalized eyewear experience from start to finish.

The role offers competitive pay of 21–27/hour with uncapped bonuses, full medical/dental/vision benefits, and opportunities for growth from within.

Qualifications

• Optical experience with frames, lenses, and prescriptions.
• Retail or sales experience and ability to guide customers through a sale.
• Excellent people skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Dependable, detail-oriented mindset suited to fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to help across store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face patients see first and guide them through a personalized eyewear experience from start to finish.
• Help patients pick frames and lenses matching prescription, lifestyle, and style.
• Run pre-testing and support patients through exams with our optometry team and Licensed Opticians (connected virtually).
• Share knowledge on eyewear care and current promotions.
• Build relationships so patients return and refer friends.
• Keep the store organized, clean, and welcoming.

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the friendly face patients see first — guiding them through a personalized eyewear experience from start to finish
• Help patients pick frames and lenses that match their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style
• Run pre-testing and support patients through their exam, working alongside our optometry team (connected virtually) and our Licensed Opticians
• Share your know-how on eyewear care and current promotions
• Build real relationships — the kind where patients come back and bring their friends
• Keep your store looking sharp, organized, and welcoming
