Job summary

Visology is seeking energetic Eyewear Sales Consultants to join our teams in Medford, Quincy, Somerville, and Swampscott, MA. You’ll guide customers through a personalized eyewear experience, helping them choose frames and lenses that fit prescription, lifestyle, and style.

Qualifications

• Optical frame knowledge and prescription handling.
• Experience guiding customers and closing sales in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through eyewear selection from start to finish.
• Help patients pick frames and lenses matching prescription and lifestyle.
• Assist with pre-testing and support during exams with optometry team and licensed opticians.
• Share eyewear care tips and explain current promotions.
• Build relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
• Keep store organized, clean, and welcoming.

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the friendly face patients see first — guiding them through a personalized eyewear experience from start to finish
• Help patients pick frames and lenses that match their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style
• Run pre-testing and support patients through their exam, working alongside our optometry team (connected virtually) and our Licensed Opticians
• Share your know-how on eyewear care and current promotions
• Build real relationships — the kind where patients come back and bring their friends
• Keep your store looking sharp, organized, and welcoming

• Optical experience — you know your way around frames, lenses, and prescriptions
• Retail or sales experience — you're comfortable guiding customers and closing a sale
• Great people skills — you genuinely enjoy helping others
