Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Eyewear Consultant in Westport, CT. You will support trusted doctors and teams to help patients see and look their best.

No optical experience needed; training will be provided. Some weekend/evening shifts are required, and the wage range is $16.00 to $20.50 hourly, commensurate with experience. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with eyewear selection, educate on insurance benefits, and help achieve office goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales position preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet office goals with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and advising patients' needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection and educate on fit.
• Drive sales through building relationships and trust with patients.
• Explain insurance benefits and process to patients.
• Fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses with available tools.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist and team for seamless care.
• Represent MyEyeDr. values and patient-centered brand.
