Job summary

Target Optical is seeking a Store Manager in Tallahassee, FL to lead a high-performing team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will drive store performance, coaching teammates and ensuring guest readiness, merchandising, and compliance with company standards.

You will schedule shifts, complete payroll weekly, recruit talent, conduct performance reviews, and partner with optical doctors where applicable to support the eye care and retail business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in customer service and retail.
• 3+ years management or supervisory experience.
• Drive for results.
• Critical thinking.
• Recruiting, selection and development of talent.
• Motivating and influencing others.
• Opticianary License or American Board of Opticians Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Set expectations for store readiness and guest readiness.
• Schedule staff based on business trends and traffic.
• Complete payroll weekly and manage personnel files.
• Maintain policies, merchandising and promotions.
• Develop action plans for staff growth and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Target Optical doctors where applicable.
