MyEyeDr. in Kalamazoo is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to provide personalized eyecare by supporting doctors and teams to help patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience?

Training and tools are provided to learn about an industry that delivers a best-in-class patient experience. Some weekend and evenings shifts required. You will join a high-growth retail healthcare environment focused on exceptional patient service, product knowledge, and collaborative teamwork to meet office

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales role is preferred but not required.
• Proactive problem solving with a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Ability to sell while meeting office goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection with knowledge of product lines.
• Deliver sales plan and office goals by building a trusting patient experience.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients.
• Use training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from the selection.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist to support lenses or frames.
• Work with doctors and team to deliver a seamless patient experience.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy in patient interactions.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
