Job summary

MyEyeDr is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Virginia to provide personalized eyecare and guide patients through frame and lens choices. Training and tools will be provided to learn the industry and deliver a best-in-class experience while supporting doctors and teams.

Weekend and evenings shifts may be required. The role emphasizes customer service, selling to meet office goals, explaining insurance benefits, and learning our product lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position (Retail, Hospitality or Optical field preferred, but not required).
• Willing to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Ability to meet office goals with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection by educating on best fit.
• Deliver sales plans and office goals through a customer-focused experience.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyewear from a wide selection.
• Coordinate with the Office Optometrist to support lens/frame choices.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members for a seamless patient experience.
• Represent MyEyeDr. values and brand in patient interactions.
