Job summary

Eyebuydirect is seeking an Eyecare Advisor to provide exceptional patient service and assist customers with frame and lens selections in-store. You will review prescriptions, process orders, and support the optometrist with routine tasks while maintaining accurate records and a welcoming store environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, sales skills, and knowledge of eyewear products. Experience in retail or optical is preferred; full-time hours with potential bonus or benefits

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Basic math proficiency and familiarity with cash handling.
• Customer-service oriented with sales ability.
• Knowledge of eyewear merchandise and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver prompt service.
• Explain in-store shopping process and required paperwork.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Describe features/benefits of lenses and frames to customers.
• Assist in frame and lens selections for lifestyle and budget.
• Perform pre-examination tasks and support to optometrist as needed.
• Operate POS and handle payments accurately.
• Maintain store appearance and safety compliance.
