Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to support patients with personalized eyecare, assisting in frame and lens selection and explaining insurance benefits. Training will be provided to learn the optical industry and high-quality vision care.

You'll work with doctors and a knowledgeable team to ensure a best-in-class patient experience, meeting office goals while delivering a trusted, friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening shifts are required where needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Willing to learn about optical industry and products
• Ability to sell and meet office goals with a proactive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using product knowledge to educate on best fit
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through building a trusted patient experience
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection
• Complete optometric tasks in partnership with the Office Optometrist to serve patients and lenses/frames
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members for a seamless patient experience
• Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy with patients
• Participate in other office duties as assigned
