EssilorLuxottica’s TeamVision practice in Missouri is seeking an Optometric Technician to support eye exams and patient care. You will help manage patient flow, perform pre-exam tests, assist the optometrist, and ensure accurate records in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, high-quality service, and flexibility, including evenings/weekends as needed. Candidates should have a High School diploma and 2+ years in optometry or healthcare, knowledge of optical terminology,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in optometry, ophthalmology or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology.
• Understanding of optical equipment and diagnostic testing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and eye exams, managing records and patient flow.
• Performs tests to aid the optometrist during vision examinations.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant records and supports contact lens exams.
• Operates scheduling and POS systems, and ensures safe environment.
