Job summary

LensCrafters is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Fresno to provide exceptional eyewear experiences. You will engage customers, apply optical knowledge to recommend lenses and coatings, help select frames, and assist with measurements alongside our opticians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems and calculators.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and meet goals.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated with multi-tasking in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Uses optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assists patients in frame selection and coordinates frames with measurements with the optician.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with the Optician as needed.
• Contributes to a positive store environment and strong professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and staff.
• Keeps store displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
