Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Lombard, IL is seeking a General Manager to lead an eyecare office, foster a collaborative culture, and deliver personalized patient experiences. You will own the office’s success including patient experiences, financial performance, and operations, reporting to the District Manager. Some evenings and weekends are required.

You will recruit and develop teammates, drive KPI results, and partner with doctors and home office to ensure seamless service and strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of management experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership facing role as the main decision maker.
• Experience leading two or more employees to hit sales and operational goals.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Effective communicator, detail oriented and a strong leader reflecting MyEyeDr. values.
• Upholds exceptional service standards and mentors teammates and patients.
• Servant leadership style with drive for results and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose driven team through recruitment and onboarding, plus ongoing training and development.
• Direct responsibility for the financial success of the office through KPI performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and associates to provide seamless patient experiences.
• Deliver KPI results with strong coaching to other leaders and team members.
• Maximize optometric partnerships through coverage and doctor availability.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnership and ongoing relationship.
• Maintain HR policies and a productive, safe work environment.
• Lead performance and development with the District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient needs.
