Job summary

LensCrafters in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to welcome customers, explain eyewear options, and support the optical team in delivering the LensCrafters Experience. The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and accurate processing at the point of sale.

You will work closely with the opticians and doctors to ensure smooth patient flow, maintain store presentation, and help meet daily performance goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

• Strong basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Promptly answers the telephone (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Handles and files all patient records in an organized and HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Operates the POS system with accuracy and attention to details.
• Maintains the appearance of the store and displays per guidelines.
• Responds quickly to changes in promotions with staff communications and signage.
