Job summary

LensCrafters in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality patient care in a retail-optical setting.

You will greet customers, assist with frame and lens choices, explain tests and paperwork, and coordinate with the optometrist and retail team to meet store KPIs. Experience in customer service or retail optical is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly (within 30 seconds).
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously (3 rings).
• Explain required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care; coordinate with Optician/Management when needed.
• Provide coaching and guidance on contact lens care.
• Maintain and disinfect inventory; assist Optometrist as needed.
• Operate POS system with accuracy and security procedures.
• Explain One Hour processing and delivery times.
• Keep store displays in line with guidelines.
