Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor (Part-Time) to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care in the store. You will greet customers, explain procedures and products, and coordinate with the doctor and retail team to provide a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with frame and lens selection, performing pre-exam tasks, and handling payments and records with HIPAA precision.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills and sales minded.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and builds rapport to understand needs.
• Explains tests, products and services offered.
• Reviews prescriptions and notes special needs, coordinating with Optician/Doctor when needed.
• Assists customers in frame and lens selection considering lifestyle and budget.
• Operates POS system accurately and processes payments securely.
• Maintains store appearance and keeps displays up to date.
