Warby Parker in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking an Optometric Technician to support eye exams in a high-volume retail setting. You will assist doctors with pre-testing, data collection, and training on contact lens insertion/removal, while ensuring a seamless patient experience.

You will collaborate with store staff and clinicians, maintain records, and help manage appointment flow with a focus on accuracy, privacy, and patient care in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient and build rapport.
• Collect clinical data (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, etc.).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments.
• Train on insertion/removal training for contact lenses.
• Assist with booking, confirmation and follow-up to ensure smooth appointments.
• Manage patient flow through the exam process.
• Maintain accurate records of collected data for reporting.
