Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to partner with our optometrists in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help with pre-testing, data collection, and training on contact lens insertion/removal, while supporting patients and doctors to ensure smooth eye exams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical environment or supporting doctors.
• Knowledge of eyewear features and benefits.
• Familiar with healthcare technology systems (EMR, retinal cameras).
• Completion of Optometric Technician training or CPOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient to build rapport.
• Perform preliminary data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, etc.).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams as available.
• Provide insertion/removal training for contact lenses and train teammates.
• Manage appointment flow and confirm bookings for a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain accurate data records and prepare reports for medical professionals.
