Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver exceptional patient service and support the doctor in providing high-quality eye care. You will greet guests, explain procedures, process orders and assist with prescriptions in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient communication and teamwork, with emphasis on safety and professional patient experience. This position is in Peoria, AZ, and involves in-store work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year strong guest service skills.
• High School Graduate /GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communicator and listener to guests and associates.
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong interpersonal skills (friendly, caring, patient).
• Sales skills and knowledge of store merchandise.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt, attentive service.
• Explain product options, paperwork, tests and timelines.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments.
• Keep displays clean, organized and stocked.
• Maintain patient records and assist optical staff as needed.
