Job summary

Highline Vision Center, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Full-Time Central Scheduler to manage patient appointments and optimize daily scheduling at the Aurora, CO location.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with 2+ years of related experience. You will ensure accurate records, coordinate with the team, and maintain a positive patient experience throughout scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients to schedule appointments, provide information about procedures, and answer questions related to scheduling.
• Maintain and update the schedules, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on appointments, meetings, and other commitments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient appointments, cancellations, and reschedules.
• Communicate effectively with team within the practice to ensure smooth coordination and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and appointment requirements to facilitate a seamless check-in process.
• Ensure compliance with Practice policies, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and other relevant guidelines related to scheduling and patient information.
• Manage last minute changes, cancellations, and urgent appointment requests while maintaining a balanced schedule.
• Proficiently use scheduling software and electronic health records systems to streamline the scheduling process and maintain accurate records.
• Strive to enhance the patient’s experience by minimizing wait times, providing clear instructions, and addressing scheduling-related concerns promptly.
