Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an LPN to assist in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards in a fast-paced ambulatory setting in Seattle.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, and maintaining aseptic technique while coordinating care across the OR team. Washington license and optional ACLS/BLS are required or preferred accordingly.

Qualifikationen

• Current Washington LPN or RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• IV skills are required and ambulatory surgery center experience is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Identifies patient care needs and prioritizes accordingly.
• Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Utilizes aseptic technique and infection control principles to establish and maintain intravenous access.
• Collects and records pertinent patient data (vital signs, NPO status, medical history, etc.).
• Administers medications according to policy and procedure and within scope of practice.
• Reports abnormal or unexpected outcomes or observations.
• Assists in management of patient complications/emergencies preoperatively and postoperatively.
• Facilitates actions and activities that support accountability to practice.
• Identifies and initiates problem resolution.
• Actively participates, develops and implements activities and measures promoting quality care.
