• Ensures operative and informed consent are signed and correct.
• Takes and records vital statistics for readiness for procedures.
• Initiates IV lines and informs patients about procedures.
• Assesses post-operative condition.
• Monitors vital signs and discharge criteria.
• Logs findings in patient files.
• Responds to patient questions and ensures comfort.
• Monitors for condition changes and reports to physician.
• Performs intervention duties during post-operative emergencies.
