Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist in the operating room of our ASC, ensuring safe patient care during procedures and adherence to standards. The role requires vigilance in vital sign monitoring, aseptic technique, and medication administration within scope.

You will monitor vitals, administer medications per policy, maintain aseptic technique, and support emergency readiness while using electronic health records to document care.

Qualifications

• Current Washington LPN or RN license is required.
• BLS certification preferred; ACLS recommended.
• Clinical experience in ambulatory surgery center (ASC) settings is preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care needs and prioritize accordingly.
• Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control.
• Administers medications according to policy and scope of practice.
• Records vital signs and medical history data.
• Manages patient complications preop and postop.
• Supports quality care and accountability within the practice.

As well as oversee patient care activities in the operating room and maintain a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.Roles and ResponsibilitiesIdentifies patient care needs and prioritizes accordingly.Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic technique.Utilizes aseptic technique and infection control principles to establish and maintain intravenous access.Collects and records pertinent patient data.
