Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Eye Care Educator to educate Eye Care Professionals on critical eye exams for cancer patients and to communicate results effectively with patients and Hematology/Oncology teams. In this role you will develop tailored educational materials, collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical teams, and ensure compliant communication of REMS details in line with FDA guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (4-year BA/BS).
• 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with a focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
• Alternatively, 1-3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including oncology education, patient care, and interaction with physicians.
• Advanced communication skills to clearly explain complex oncology concepts to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and other stakeholders.
• Collaborative expertise with cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing and delivering product-specific training and educational materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging across all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower: Educate Eye Care Professionals on essential eye exams and communicate results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams.
• Impactful Training: Deliver tailored educational materials that equip Healthcare Professionals with a thorough understanding of critical patient care procedures.
• Collaborate for Clarity: Partner with Oncology Account Managers and the Medical team to ensure seamless communication of product-related information, including REMS details, in alignment with FDA guidance.
• Support Care Coordination as needed.
