Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a skilled Training Specialist to educate Eye Care Professionals about essential eye exams, communicating results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams. The role focuses on delivering tailored educational materials that enable Healthcare Professionals to understand critical care procedures.

You will collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical teams to ensure accurate REMS details and alignment with FDA guidance, while supporting care coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with a focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
• Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including oncology education, patient care, and interaction with physicians.
• Advanced communication skills to clearly explain complex oncology concepts to Eye Care Professionals and other stakeholders.
• Collaborative expertise and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of management and departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower by educating Eye Care Professionals on essential eye exams and communicating results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams.
• Deliver tailored educational materials for Healthcare Professionals to understand critical patient care procedures.
• Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical team to relay product-related information and REMS details per FDA guidance.
• Provide support for care coordination as needed.
• Develop and deliver product-specific training and educational materials.
