Job summary
Syneos Health is seeking an Eye Care Educator to train Eye Care Professionals on essential eye exams for cancer patients and to convey results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A 4-year BA/BS degree is required.
- 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing, with a focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
- Alternatively, 1-3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including oncology education, patient care, and interaction with physicians.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively across all levels of management and departments
Responsibilities
- Lead and Empower Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on essential eye exams and communicate results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams.
- Deliver tailored educational materials for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
- Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical team to convey REMS details in line with FDA guidance.
- Support Care Coordination as needed
