Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a friendly Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant in Arizona to be the welcoming face of our exam practice. You will guide patients through preliminary testing, introduce them to the OD, and help transition them to sales while educating on products and services.

This full-time role supports the exam lane, handles routine tasks, restocks inventory, and ensures a great patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals: restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, answering phones.
