Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Trim and Moulding Extrusion Operator in St. Marys, WV. The role runs a 4/3/3/4 rotation with day and night shifts; starting pay is $17/hour with increases to $18/hour after training and a $1.25/hour night differential for night rotation.

You will work with leads to set up equipment, monitor operations, perform quality checks, and help meet safety and productivity goals while mentoring stackers.

Qualifications

• OSHA mandated forklift training is required.
• Good basic math and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies, extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Observe machine operation and adjust settings to maintain quality.
• Conduct quality checks using precision calipers.
• Move finished profile and prepare for shipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and lubrication.
• Take hourly readings and document results.
• Count and report production and inventory at end of shift.
• Train and mentor stackers.
• Attend plant EHS training and follow safety guidelines.
• Support department goals and other duties as assigned
