Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing; extrusion/fenestration exp preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication; able to train operators.
• Team-oriented; ability to supervise, motivate, and train staff.
• Proficient in extrusion operations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates manufacture of building products to meet production demands while ensuring safety and environmental responsibility.
• Develops staffing guidelines with plant leadership to maximize resources and control costs.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates, and replaces staff to meet performance objectives.
• Trains personnel in tooling, troubleshooting, machine setup, safety, and record keeping.
• Interviews candidates and recommends hires to HR.
• Oversees line operations, rotations, and break schedules; maintains communication for seamless changes.
• Uses statistics or SPC to control extrusion/production processes.
• Maintains safety policies and addresses unsafe acts.
