Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Martinsburg, WV, is hiring an Extrusion Associate 3 (EA3) trainee. You will learn to operate extrusion lines to produce vinyl siding and accessories, aiming for EA4 promotion within a 12-month window. Strong mechanical skills, safety focus, and good teamwork are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Night shifts are 7 pm–7 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. Medical, dental, and vision benefits start day one, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School graduate or GED recipient.
• Basic reading/writing and math abilities required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to health and safety with good attendance.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Ability to learn computer/ten-key basics for recordkeeping.
• Must be able to lift up to 86 lbs and work standing for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines and produce vinyl siding components per specs.
• Maintain equipment settings to ensure product consistency.
• Perform quality checks on finished products against specs.
• Notify supervisors of deviations and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Assist with line changeovers and color/product changes.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and timely.
• Support training of new hires and temporary staff.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
