Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Machine Operator in Stuarts Draft, VA to learn extrusion line operations and produce vinyl siding products. The role emphasizes quality inspection, adherence to specifications, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position offers a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule on a 2-2-3 shift, with base pay of $25.25 per hour plus a $1 night differential, and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and have working knowledge of machine mechanics.
• Must have good mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 86 pounds and handle heavy workloads.
• Excellent attendance and teamwork are required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect extruded product for defects according to specifications.
• Perform line packaging-related tasks and paperwork.
• Coordinate with shifts to communicate product quality and status.
• Assist with color and product fixture changes and line changeovers.
• Maintain equipment and perform pre-start checks and inspection procedures.
