Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a Trim and Moulding Extrusion Operator for our St. Marys, WV facility.

You will set up dies and extrusion equipment, monitor machine operation, perform quality checks and assist with safe, efficient production. The role offers a 4/3/3/4 rotational schedule with day and night shifts, a starting pay of $17/hour with an increase to $18/hour after training, and a $1.25/hour night differential.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift training is required.
• Basic math and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies, extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust heater, water, vacuum, pressure, screw and conveyor speeds; ensure proper cooling.
• Perform quality checks using precision calipers to verify dimensions.
• Move finished profile and prepare skids for shipment.
• Carry scrap and defective boards to scrap racks and transport to grinder/recycling.
• Fill hopper and perform minor maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning dies.
• Take hourly readings of machine gauges and document results on run sheets.
• Perform Oracle transactions to track inventory levels.
• Count and report production and inventory at end of shift.
• Attend plant EHS training and follow safety guidelines.
