Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Line Operator to operate and maintain a plastic extrusion line on the second shift. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, quality controls, and production reporting.

The candidate will work 40+ hours per week, including weekends, and participate in tooling changes and line start-ups. Ideal applicants have manufacturing or extrusion experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Embraces a culture of safety.
• Manages a plastic extrusion line to meet quality specifications and customer needs.
• Uses standard operating procedures to keep the line running within specifications.
• Leads line tooling changes, start-ups and shutdowns.
• Maintains a safe work environment with PPE and housekeeping compliance.
• Completes shift production and reporting paperwork.
