Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Line Operator to manage a plastic extrusion line and maintain safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves line changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and accurate production reporting.

The candidate should have basic computer skills, be able to work extended hours including weekends, and maintain a safe work environment on the production floor. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing or extrusion experience is

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, e.g. forklifts, in a safe manner.
• Reading and Writing skills.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic extrusion line and ensure finished goods meet quality specs.
• Lead line tooling changes, start-ups and shutdowns.
• Maintain a safe work environment through PPE and housekeeping compliance.
• Complete shift production and reporting paperwork.
• Conduct regular product sampling to ensure quality.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance program.
