Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is hiring a Line Operator to manage a plastic extrusion line, uphold safety, and ensure product quality. The role requires 40+ hours per week with possible weekend shifts, and operates across multiple lines with tooling changes and start-ups.

The ideal candidate has mechanical troubleshooting skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to read SOPs. A high school diploma is required, with prior extrusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with extrusion operations preferred.
• Able to read standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Embraces a culture of safety
• Manages a plastic extrusion line to meet quality specifications
• Uses SOPs to keep the line running within specs
• Leads tooling changes, start-ups and shutdowns
• Maintains a safe workplace with PPE and housekeeping
• Completes shift production and reporting paperwork
• Performs regular product sampling for quality
• Supports Preventative Maintenance program
• Meets or exceeds production efficiencies on lines
• Operates and certifies multiple lines as trained
• Troubleshoots process and mechanical issues and repairs
