Job summary

POM Wonderful is seeking an Extraction Lead to oversee daily beverage operations, ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and workplace quality. You will train, coach, and develop hourly staff, directing work to meet performance targets and maintain clean, safe production areas.

The role requires guiding shift start/end, balancing workloads, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to persuasively communicate with operation personnel, coworkers, and management.
• Teamwork and reliability to work with team dynamics and meet deadlines.
• Work quality expectations to ensure the product is safe and high quality.
• Ability to perform essential duties and basic arithmetic related to weights, volumes and distances.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety, GMP and quality.
• Maintain a safe environment and support a safety culture.
• Maintain a Food Safety environment and support a quality culture.
• Create and maintain a professional working environment.
• Maintain materials and product produced within product specifications.
• Meet expected operational goals and numbers.
• Support maintenance and maintain operation and cleanliness of all machines.
• Shift start: assign everyone to their work station and pass down the schedule.
• Monitor breaks and lunches; ensure proper breaks are taken.
• Verify and initial shift paperwork as required.
• Shift end: address safety and quality concerns; reconcile paperwork and materials.
• Own and participate in personal development.
• Must have flexible schedule with some weekends and overtime.
• Assist/Perform COP/CIP processes and handle chemicals during cleaning.
