Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in New Jersey seeks an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the extraction lab. You will lead up to ten technicians, coordinate production, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced cannabis facility.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to optimize workflows while maintaining GLP and SOP standards across the operation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain state credentials.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in a supervisor or team management role.
• 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, extraction, or related production environment.
• Comfortable working environments with humidity, plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures.
• Willingness to wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to meet production schedules, throughput goals, and quality standards.
• Lead, train, mentor, and supervise staff, including assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Monitor metrics and implement continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise equipment operation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, GLP, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements; support audits and corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
