Illinois State University is seeking a warehouse associate to receive and deliver materials across campus, focusing on customer service and quality assurance. The role uses an automated scanning system for receiving and a handheld scanner for deliveries by motor vehicle. Training on the system will be provided.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and a valid Class C driver’s license. The position is up to 28 hours per week with a tentative start date in August/September 2026.
Performs the functions of receiving and delivering materials from the Central Receiving Warehouse to all areas of campus with a focus on ; customer service and quality assurance. Receiving is done utilizing an automated scanning system. Delivery is done utilizing a motor vehicle and a handheld scanner.

$21.00 per hour
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid/current Class C non-CDL driver’s license.
Up to 28 hours/week – schedule to be determined upon hire
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
2. Ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs.
3. Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
4. Ability to bend, crouch, kneel and reach overhead.
