Milner Library’s Acquisition’s Unit is hiring an Extra Help Serials Assistant. The Acquisitions Unit supports the procurement of all library resources and performs work related to the selection, acquisition, and data entry of purchased and licensed content. The Serials Assistant performs technical, clerical and other duties related to the control of periodical and journal subscription, renewal and cancellation.
This is a temporary extra help position for Fall/Spring 2026. Applicants must be available to work 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University’s 403(b) Plan.
$20.00 per hour
Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Hours are flexible within this range.

Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment and are paid for hours worked only. Extra Help employment does not guarantee permanent placement. Extra Help employees may only work up to 900 total hours.
