Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define and align sourcing strategies across multiple sites in the U.S. and Europe, leveraging supplier relationships to optimize value and safety.

You will lead supplier qualification, RFIs/RFPs, and negotiations, while collaborating with internal partners to ensure compliant, cost-effective purchases and continuous performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience (US E5/Canadian rank) required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Experience defining sourcing opportunities and negotiating with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define scope of purchases and service requirements.
• Develop sourcing strategies to enable competitive and reliable purchases.
• Assess risk profiles of markets, suppliers, and purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFIs, RFPs, and negotiations.
• Implement SRM and drive supplier performance improvements via KPIs.
