Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define opportunities, align strategies, and optimize supplier value across multiple locations, including US and Europe.

You will negotiate with suppliers and internal partners, lead qualification and bidding, and drive continuous improvement with KPIs such as safety, productivity and quality. The role requires strong strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills with 5+ years of experience and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above a US E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clarify the scope of purchase and relevant service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from the market using best practices to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assess and manage risk profiles of markets, suppliers and purchases.
• Develop sourcing strategies ensuring safe, compliant purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI, RFQ/RFP, bidding and negotiations.
• Resolve complex problems using multi-source information and judgement.
• Negotiate, execute and implement commercial agreements per strategy.
• Evaluate supplier performance with SRM and KPIs.
• Exercise influential leadership to elevate team performance.
