Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing opportunities and strategies across multiple U.S. locations.

The role involves negotiating with suppliers, aligning with internal partners, and driving sustained value for Dow. Strong analytical, negotiation, and project-management skills are essential. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Clarify scope of purchase and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from the market using best practices; identify and propose competitive cost-saving solutions.
• Assess and manage risk for market, supplier and purchases.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for competitive, reliable purchases meeting safety and compliance.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI, RFQ/RFP, bidding, evaluation and negotiations.
• Evaluate established and new solutions; resolve complex problems using judgement.
• Negotiate, execute and implement commercial agreements per strategy.
• Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation and drive SRM for continuous improvement via KPIs.
