Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking an External Manufacturing Manager in Madison, WI to orchestrate robust production plans with manufacturing partners, covering raw materials and finished goods. You will lead technology transfer and multi-sourcing initiatives, aligning with Quality, Operations, and Strategy teams to execute the company’s manufacturing roadmap.

The role requires 8+ years in operations and 2+ years with contract manufacturers, plus experience in regulated environments with QMS oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years in operations or production management, with 2+ years partnering with contract manufacturers.
• Experience with complex production planning and technical project management.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment with QMS oversight.

Responsibilities

• Create, drive, and execute a robust production plan with manufacturing partners for raw materials and finished goods.
• Manage manufacturing partner relationships and drive communication, budget, and reviews.
• Lead technology transfer and multi-sourcing projects following NPI processes and QMS.
• Implement the company strategy with manufacturing partners across operations.
• Coordinate connectivity between Quality, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Commercial teams.
