Job summary

Woodgrain seeks a Distribution Technical Sales Manager for the Orlando, FL area to act as the internal expert for exterior product lines and partner with the Outside Sales Team, Marketing, and Supply Chain. The role drives demonstrations, training, and large project coordination with vendors to strengthen brand loyalty and sales growth.

The position requires 3–5 years in construction or exterior systems, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years in construction or exterior systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Field resource for exterior product lines represented by Woodgrain.
• Maintain detailed pipeline with Sales Team; note opportunities and follow-ups.
• Conduct on-site training, installation demos, and contractor workshops with vendors.
• Collaborate with vendors and Woodgrain OSRs to identify and quote large regional projects.
• Coordinate with leadership and supply chain to ensure inventory breadth for growth.
• Provide technical and installation support to builders, contractors, and distributors.
• Coordinate with vendor QA teams for field inspections and standards compliance.
• Assist in developing marketing materials, product launches, and regional events.
• Gather field feedback to inform product development and marketing efforts.
