Job summary

Murphy's Roofing Supply and Building Products (GW Murphy Inc) is a family-owned distributor and retailer of roofing materials and building supplies serving contractors across Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. We are seeking a driven Territory Representative to grow market share, build lasting relationships, and exceed sales goals within an assigned territory.

You will prospect daily, present exterior building products, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with branch

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of exterior building materials or construction-related sales experience.
• Proven outside B2B sales and territory management success.
• Strong negotiation, closing, and analytical skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned territory.
• Build and grow relationships with contractors and key accounts.
• Prospect daily to identify new business opportunities and customers.
• Present and sell exterior building products like roofing, siding, windows, waterproofing.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Track sales activity using CRM tools and report to Sales leadership.
