Job summary

Mundo Verde Bilingual Public Charter School is seeking an Extended Day Site Manager for the J.F. Cook Campus in Washington, DC. This salaried role oversees the Extended Day Program from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, supervises up to 35 staff, ensures safe dismissals, and maintains accurate rosters and documentation.

You will lead professional development, support summer programming, manage family communications, and implement restorative practices to promote student well-being and positive behavior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of school-related supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Extended Day operations from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with ~35 staff.
• Foster family communication and safe, restorative practices.
• Lead weekly professional development and summer program planning.
• Ensure compliance with policies, attendance, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate summer program activities and field trips.
