Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Radcliff, KY is seeking an Expressive Aide/Coordinator to join the Activity Therapy team. You will plan and implement life skills and leisure activity programs for patients across developmental stages under the direction of the Director of Activity Therapy.

The role requires assessing patients within 72 hours of admission, setting meaningful goals on the master treatment plan, and maintaining therapy areas.

Qualifications

• Master's degree/Expressive Arts certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each patient, within 72 hours of admission, using the activity therapy assessment form and provides documentation of such in the progress notes.
• Develops goals on the master treatment plan of each patient, ensuring that the goals are meaningful to the patient and that the patient understands the purpose.
• Share responsibility for the cleanliness, orderliness, and inventory of all activity therapy areas.
• Plans and implements a variety of activity therapy groups weekly as specific programs require.
• Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position.
