Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, a hospital operated by Universal Health Services, seeks an Activity Aide/Coordinator to administer life skills and leisure activity programs for diverse patients. Responsibilities include timely patient assessments, treatment plan goal setting, and maintaining activity spaces.

The role supports adolescents, adults, military personnel, veterans and first responders, under supervision of the Director of Activity Therapy, contributing to a healing environment

Qualifications

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient within 72 hours of admission using the activity therapy assessment form and document in progress notes.
• Develop goals on the master treatment plan that are meaningful to the patient.
• Share responsibility for cleanliness, orderliness, and inventory of all activity therapy areas.
• Plan and implement a variety of activity therapy groups weekly as required.
• Demonstrate excellent judgment and clinical skills in this position.
