Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Kentucky seeks an Activity Aide/Coordinator to support the activity therapy team. You will plan, schedule, and implement life skills and leisure programs for patients, tailored to developmental and emotional needs under the Director of Activity Therapy.

Responsibilities include completing admission assessments within 72 hours, setting goals on the master treatment plan, maintaining areas, and organizing weekly activity groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each patient within 72 hours of admission using the activity therapy assessment form and documents progress notes.
• Develops goals on the master treatment plan ensuring goals are meaningful to the patient and understood.
• Share responsibility for cleanliness, orderliness, and inventory of all activity therapy areas.
• Plans and implements a variety of activity therapy groups weekly as required.
• Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position.
